Dear Friends and Partners,
Along with you, we are watching the impact of COVID-19 on our neighbors and our communities. Although there is a lot of anxiety and uncertainty right now, I am encouraged and moved by how quickly our grantees, philanthropic partners, and staff are uniting and gathering resources to serve Texans in need.
While so many things are out of our control at the moment, The Meadows Foundation is committed to being here for the people of Texas in the weeks and months to come.
For our employees, this means they are working from home for the time being to protect their health and wellbeing as well as that of their families.
For our grantees, this means we are available to you for questions about current grants, grant applications, and future responses related to this pandemic. Your program officer is a tremendous source of support and information about what is happening in your sector, and how we and other funders are helping.
For our philanthropic partners, this means we are committed to working with you to find solutions to the challenges COVID-19 is creating.
We know it will be a long road back, and we will evolve and adapt with you because we are in this together.
Thank you for being part of our community and all you are doing in these exceptionally overwhelming circumstances. Look out for each other and be well.
Sincerely,
Peter M. Miller
